Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan

Dr Badri Narayanan Gopalakrishnan is a Non-resident Fellow with NITI Aayog, where he served earlier as head of verticals of Trade and Commerce, Strategic Economic Dialogue, International Cooperation and Vision India@2047. Prior to joining NITI, he worked as an economist focusing on international trade, technology, environmental/energy, labour and public health policies. Dr Gopalakrishnan holds multiple positions such as affiliate faculty member with University of Washington Seattle, Boston College, Non-resident Senior Fellow with European Center for International Political Economy, Brussels, and National Council for Applied Economic Research. He has also been a consultant with the UN, World Bank, FAO, WHO, Harvard University, Tata Group, Aditya Birla Group and several others. He has been engaged with the startup community across the world as an advisor and co-founder. Dr Gopalakrishnan has published over 150 papers and 8 books and presented his work in over 30 countries across the world.
